Sweet, post up some pics. We're getting a lot of older trucks in here recently and I love it!

Clean lil truck,my old neighbor had one with a 90s model bed and lt1 in it... Almost same color...
I hate when they do that. It really just screws those trucks up.

2007 Chevy RCSB 4.8 4x4 LS SOLD
2008 Chevy RCSB 5.3 4x4 LT SOLD

its a nice bed to upgrade to but then the f & r wheel well openings don't match. These trucks have round style openings, where the modern sportside beds are more squared.
If I ever change my shortbed/stepside bed....it'll be for a short/wide (fleetside) bed but still have a wood floor.
my truck started life with V6/3sp on the tree, and leaf rear suspension with drum brakes all around. I bought a '72 C-10 (disc brakes, coil rear) with a 305 sbc and turbo 350 and sold the body, using the '72 chassis under the '68 until last February when I started redoing the original frame. Lowered 4/5 with front drop spindles, tubular upper control arms, big front and rear sway bars, upgraded disc brakes, custom aluminum rear fuel tank, etc.
wish I could get to my online pics....here's a few of the build.
