They could sort of build it in. however you dont want the laptop being your ground nor the PCM so you have the option of wiring your own this way. Also some widebands will have a ground output that they want you to use for there sensor.

I just want to adapt the oil pressure one to read fuel pressure.....I hope it works. !!!
I wonder if you can use an Autometer gauge hooked up to the PLX?

    from the plx website...

The PLX Oil Pressure Sensor Module accurately measures the the pressure of oil. This is ideal for oil pressure monitoring. Up to 32 Sensor Modules can be daisy chained together in the iMFD system. The Oil Pressure Sensor Module can also be used as a stand alone unit capable of interfacing with 3rd party hardware.

The included sensor is designed for oil pressure sensing ONLY. DO NOT use this sensor with fuel, as the sensor will damage due to corrosion over time.

Got my gauge installed. Now it's time to find out how to get rid of the electrical miss and tweak on the tune.

I've been looking into a dm6 and/or dm100 for awhile now but just haven't brung myself to cut the fat check for one... I'm sure if I did my own tuning I would definitely gotten one by now though.
