Thread: my first ls swap 1996 2 door Tahoe 4wd 385 Stroker to LQ4 cam headers **pics**

    I put a chain through the balancer and to the frame and then take the handle from my floor jack and slip it over my breaker bar to loosen the bolt. Goes from the drivers side fender towards the passenger side when the breaker bar handle is is pointed up.

    i did the same thing. i used the hoist chain and used the jack handle and it came off. so now to autozone to rent the puller. wasnt that bad.

    Also a small 6 gallon or larger compressor works wonders. I have a 13 gallon (used $35) and it helped me R&R my stock suspension to a 6 inch lift plus 3 inch body lift. All done by myslef. Invest in small but quality tools. Keep up the progress bruh.

    When we did mine, a compressor wasn't enough. It took a 4' cheater to break mine free.

    yea im in the middle of relocating to another state so cant really spend too much on tools. finally getting out this stupid apartment and getting a conda with a garage! then the fun will begin. i got a 68 mallibu i want to do a frame off restoration too. but everything been on hold while i wait on some parts to come in the mail. hopefully when i get everything together this thing runs
