Thread: my first ls swap 1996 2 door Tahoe 4wd 385 Stroker to LQ4 cam headers **pics**

    I read somewhere that you are going to change this from a 4WD to a 2WD. If this is right. does anyone know if a 96' Tahoe transfer case will fit into a 99' Suburban? Because if it does and you want to sell it I am VERY interested.

    yea that the plan but not right now. i plan on looking for an 80e first

    VSS is vehicle speed sensor. Goes in the sensor at the back of the tailhousing

    yea i got it now i was looking there but i dont have a tailshaft because its 4wd. its in the transfer case. i havent checked it yet to see if its the same plug. but if not ill probably have to grab it off the stock harness for the truck. dude i saw your video thats awesome. win any races yet?

    ahhh thats no fun...soon as i get mine running im racing someones truck..im pretty sure with the tune/headers/cai i should be able to embarass a few nnbs tahoes and silverados out there

    I put a chain through the balancer and to the frame and then take the handle from my floor jack and slip it over my breaker bar to loosen the bolt. Goes from the drivers side fender towards the passenger side when the breaker bar handle is is pointed up.

    i did the same thing. i used the hoist chain and used the jack handle and it came off. so now to autozone to rent the puller. wasnt that bad.
