    Brought the truck in for service today and heard the guy who pulled it in go "Man it's idling rough, think he needs a tuneup bad!"
    Always buying things I dont need to impress people I dont know

    No for now it's a 5.3. But it's is a LS motor. Cam intake bolt on's etc

    Well I bought my truck in Texas and now live in KC so I'm always catching crap for my "Texas Edition" badges. People love to be smartazzez and ask me what makes it a Texas Edition so I love to give them a smartazz answer back myself like, "it has a full camo interior and beer dispenser" or a "deer tracker and a club to beat your wife", and then I walk off. Usually catches them off guard. Sarcastic pricks!

    I used to get asked alot bout this in the red truck lol... They are like man thats only a vortec 350 im like ok shut hood and drive away lol... It erks md when craigslist ads say 350 v8 on nbs's or v6 for better fuel milage... My 5.3 murdered my brothers old sierra in that field with his gas saving v6...

    I get atleast once everytime at trucks... "whats that saab got in it to run so hard?" I either say just a 6 or if hoods open they are like how.d you fit that in there? As if the tbss(saab center capped wheels) dont clue you in on same drivetrain... I literally get laughed at every sunday at kdale before my first run and they point to other ride to win... They are alwats beating out there cause it vets mighty dark at night... Well then when I when there sure as sh!t someone down waiting to ask "wtf"

    I kinda enjoy it when people ask why I dropped it though because I'll usually give a technical response and they just stand there with a blank stare because they can't fathom that a lower center of gravity will actually help if you're hauling/towing something.

    I usually gave a similar answer and got a similar look. Then I just showed them this:
    A complete 6.0, cherry picker, and a ton of random tools and odds and ends in there.
