1995 454, there is a difference, they made this engin for only 2 years in the suburban 2500, silverado 2500, and silverado 3500 (and a few cometial vehicals, im sure) but im tired of all this crap because you think im being a know it all, i have allready done TONS of research on our truck, and i know what will, and will not work.

No the 95 TBI 454 engine was around from 90-95 (GEN V BBC). The 454SS trucks had that same engine and they started production in 90 as well.

    Mark IV BBC pre-90
    GEN V 90-95
    Vortec 7.4L 96-00

There are tons of parts for the Mark IV that will interchange on the TBI BBC, and there are lots of people running TBI or Tunnel ram setups on Mark IVs.

ok, then tell me this, when i look for parts on our suburban they either fit 1991-1993 or 1994-1995 or 1996-2004.

So you think 96-2004 all have the same engine?
Yes, there are some small differences between the accessories and sensors 90-93 and 94-95, but not much. The body style is also different from 90-91 and 92-99.

I don't care what engine you want to put in. I always liked towing with the big block trucks we've had before. Go with what you like and godspeed to you.

But regardless, this is a site dedicated to LS series engined trucks. What other response did you expect?

i dont think they have the same engine, thats why i made that comment. and i dont care how small the differences are that your talking about are, they all still say parts only go on 1994-1995 suburbans...
