yeah, but i want to keep a factory radio because the one it has now only has casset tapes ( and i just hate the way the aftermarkit ones look) and its also a little safer, and in my opinion it looks better.

95-98 used the exact same stereos factory and CD was optional in all those years.
Safer? the airbag isn't going to work just because you swap the dash.

Also if you think there are no performance parts available for the TBI 454, wait till you start trying to find some for the Vortec 454 or the 8.1.

all i can find are parts for the vortec 454... nothing for the old TBIs
