    ya, ive never ssen a 5.3 80e combo. its usually 4.8 or 6.0 with the 80. and most always the 4.8s came from vans.

    I would think for around that price you could find a 6.0 with 80e more than likely gonna be a little more but totally worth the extra cubes.

    Believe the 05 HD single cab longbeds had 5.3 80e combos.

    Dont waist money on the shortie headers they dont flow much better than the stock manifolds

    Well then. I guess I will be keeping my stock manifolds.. lol.. I am on a very tight budget, so for now the headers can wait. I got $3500 to get a engine and tranny and get it in the truck and running. Is it do-able?

    I've asked this before, but does anyone else think that I can get this swap done and running in four days? Just FYI.. I'm an all nighter guy, meaning I will literally work on this truck from sun down to sun up. I work weekend midnights anyways at Delta, so staying up all night isn't a problem for me.

    I got an uncle that has a 75 Camaro ORSCA drag car. He has done many engine pull outs & ins. He doesnt do wiring though. But thats where I come to play.

    It can be done for under your budget and in the time frameyour wanting as long as you dont buy to many extras and make sure you have everything nec. to do the swao when you start. Current perfomance can do the wiring on your truck were everything is still functional and works like its factory
