I'm new to the site. I live in Hampton, GA. I found this site when researching LS engine swaps for OBS Chevys. I got a 94 Chevy 1500 ext. cab. I'm wanting to do the 5.3 swap, but I get confused on some things that I havent read yet. Like for instenst, How do you rewire the new Engine and Tranny to work with the factory Speedo and Tach? Will the long tube pacesetter headers that are for the NBS chevys work on this swap? Is it a must to change the battery location or will it work just fine without relocating it? Any help or advice you all can help me with will be greatly appreciated. I need to get this swap done in a minimum of 4 days, reason being, this truck is my primary vehicle and I was wondering could it be done? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
