Crappy idea IMO. I agree they should look into building something in the mid engine small displacement turbo supercar market but don't call it a vette. For one they're looking trying to sell it to the european market and they already have a negative outlook on the vette for it's plastic body construction. Why not build something in the 2500-2800lb weight class with around 400-450 hp...it would be faster than a vette...

GAY. Nothing wrong with that type of engine, but it's not Corvette. That's like saying they're getting rid of the two round taillights on each side, adding a couple extra seats and disposing of a true manual transmission.
