Allen, instead of a sheetmetal intake, why not get the Edelbrock cast aluminum intake? It's about $250 and you can do all kinds of silly stuff to it including nitrous nozzles or a plate system. You never have to worry about a backfire with the cast intake. You can get the 100 degree elbow to put whatever size of TB you want to run upon the intake from a 75mm up to about 120mm and some larger if need be.
