    THere are two different LS cam bearings, he must have put in the ones for the newer engine rather than the older ones or buggered up the rear bearing.

    Red you mind being specific on these two different bearings. And it was actually the front bearing that was for sure messed up. The rear of the cam wouldnt even begin to go in. And I also have a question relating to what you said. if there are two different cam bearings why isnt there a specification on ordering a camshaft?
