The techs computer finds the mod. Not the tech himself. Nathan was writing a tune to my pcm and it saw my previously altered tune and told him to report it to gm.

Hey Allen I'm ready for a tune. I'm just gonna go ahead and get the tune before i put the 4l80 in. I think my 65 might still be ok because my brother said he took his cats off of his 01 and after he did his transmission wasn't shifting correctly because he didn't bypass the o2 sensors. After he fixed the o2 sensor problem everything was alll good. I think this is the case with my truck being that i started to experience shifting problems after I installed the offroad headers w/o cats. Also I finally realized why my truck cuts out mid burnout or heavy acceleration which is due to torque management so i think you guys can bypass that too right?

IMO, have it all removed, you can control TM with your foot

How can you do that since TM is between shifts?

to my understanding, there are many parameters to 'TM', I would assume, that 'downshift TM' would be left alone, I was mainly referring to 'off the line', abuse mode, etc, etc.

Everyone I've talked to said just take it off, mine is completely off, really didn't notice THAT much of a difference.
