this was such a popular cam for us to install when the GTO came out that a lot of guys chose this cam, then later decided on a tvs,112,aps turbo setup, but didn't change the cam.
so, to answer your question, it worked pretty good in a FI application. The last gto we did had this cam, 8psi and headers, laid down a respectable 590hp in the end.

the aps gto we did had this cam as well, and it was stronger than the aps, but we never dyno'd it.

i wouldn't be scared to put it in a big truck, i'd do it.
it'll definitely wake up the mid range and topend for sure!!!!

in my gto, it has plenty of lowend as well, but it's a tad lighter, but not much lol, heavy ass gto hahha

I used to run that cam on my 408 then went to bigger cam but didn't gain very much.
