    Transmission cooler Question

    Should i go with a external thermal bypass or no external bypass for my transmission cooler i live in houston texas it gets hot but in winter it can get pretty cold just not sure which one to go with

    what all do i need to get it to hook up to the trans lines etc.

    whats the thermal bypass?like in series?is it better to run the cooler alone or in series with the radiator?

    Mine has the integrated bypass, which is essentially a small series of openings across the top of the inner part of the cooler that restricts the thicker cold fluid until it heats up and thins out to be able to flow freely throughout the rest of the cooler. I ran mine in series so that the tranny gets up to temp quicker and stays more stable
