blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
thats an exhaust brake in the downpipe its not a true rocker style jake brake. the new duramax has the exhaust brake as well along with ford but ford is unadjustable

Keep in mind, as you're getting this for financial as opposed to environmental reasons (I think, I just skimmed) - The battery pack replacement for the Prius is something like 5 grand.
I'd definitely go with a TDI
I wondered about the cost of those batteries. Prius can honk on the bo bo. I think I will take a day next week and drive some cars and trucks.
