Take your belt off and give it a good clean with a toothbrush. And I actually have good luck using tire shine on it to keep the squeak away

take the belt off and check all the pulleys for one that is hard to turn, idlers especially. Also, what brand belts are you using? Is the tensioner belt wear indicator in the acceptable range?

check those then check the water pump pulley!!

did you replace the water pump pulley? take the belt off and see if you have any drag on the pump, specially if you replaced all other pulleys

ok this stupid squeel is driving me nuts.ive checked all pulleys for a;ignment ,cus i had to pull the ps pump wen i demodded.ive changed all pulleys that were changeable ,ive changed alternator ,and i checked the waterpump and its fine.im out of ideas.i cleaned all pulleys with a wire brush.if i put a lubricant on it like tire shine wd40 ,or belt dressing it stops for like five miles then starts right back up again.i even tried the old bar of soap on it.and ive changed belts 3 times.nothing helps.what other tricks u guys have?

try a shorter belt, when you put your belt on do you have to move the tensioner very far to get the belt all the way on?

using wd40 or any type of lubricant isnt good for the belt, it will actually stretch it under stress!

Is the belt glazed like it's been slipping?
