    Question TH400 Swap into my 2001 GMC 1;2 2wd

i was talking to the parts guy here at JHMC in Paris and he was telling me about the th400 swap and told me that a sensor was needed from Painless and of course a diff driveshaft and crossmember. can anyone give me a little more insight on what all is needed for this swap?

What sensor is he saying you need? Only sensor I had to get was the vss sensor and I got that from PATC for about $250. Then you'll have a bunch of trans codes that need to be turned off in the PCM.

Just google them, they are out of Louisiana. The codes can be turned off by anyone that has efilive or HpTuners. The only people I know are here in Dallas. You might as well get a complete tune when you do this swap as most people will charge you for it to just turn the codes off
