if it was slipping you'll know it here in a few days. it should rev faster than accelerating badly too if slipping

I'll take it back to them. They haven't been honest with me in the past so I wanted to have a head start to the problem before I took it to them. After the first rebuild, I had some major issues and they said it wasn't the xmsn. Well when I got the truck back, it had a new xmsn and it had been in a accident and they didn't tell me. Sooo I hate the very thought of going back to them, but you have a good point and they need to get it right.

I'm not sure what gears I have. The truck shifts fine, I just notice that the rpm looks a bit higher at frw speeds.

open the glove box and look at the RPO code sticker and see what gears you have. There's a chart in here that will tell you what codes to look for. Also, what size tires. With that we can tell you what RPM you should be running in drive or OD.

My thoughts exactly. Sounds like the converter isn't locking. When you lightly press the accelerator pedal on the freeway, do the rpms climb a bit??? But you really don't notice the vehicle acceleration to go along with the increase in RPMS?

I am also guessing not tuning has been involved, so it is purely in the transmission. Maybe the TCC solenoid has been messed with? Internal wiring harness may be to blame? If the TCC solenoid was not plugged in, I am sure there would be a CEL.
