The tired old Union (UAW) mentality , buy American , who do you think funds the American Companies ? Take a guess . Japan , China , so buying a Ford , Dodge , GM , the money still goes to a foreign country .
SO does not matter what you buy , you are helping to fund some foreign country somewhere . Buy American , 70% of the parts are foreign , so I guess you can buy 30% of the vehicle then !
Don't get me wrong I like GM , just not the UAW slime that builds them .
Now what is a tune again?

The general public is stupid. Just because something is popular doesn't mean I'll like it or buy it.

That being said, Toyota doesn't make a bad product IMO. Just, overall.......boring.

not trying to talk bad about someone that has died, that sucks but.... turn the dam key off, shift to N, slam it into park, common sense, gm has been using drive by wire for how long? i have owned 2 and have never herd of any issues, even my rc cars have a fail safe to keep them from going out of control. just goes to show if they would have put more money into testing and research and less into advertiseing they might have saved lives, and their reputation. moral of the story buy gm. lol

can you explain to me how China or Japan, etc fund american companies?
Ford leveraged every asset they had via mortgaging it to save thier company and not take a bailout.. ok maybe they got some of the mortgage money from a Chinese bank( i really have no idea if they did, or what banks they did business with).. but my point is.. Ford saved themselves.. so how are they sending thier money overseas?
GM.. well, they started with a US Government bailout, so thier money goes to the Government of the US since the US OWNS 60 percent of them.
Dodge, is only 80% American. the UAW is a greedy organization that helped destroy GM, Ford, and Dodge\Chysler\Plymouth. And btw, the Mustang , while is may have foreign electronics, is 100% built in America, by Americans, supporting an AMERICAN company. Its always been built in Detroit, and according to Ford, always will be.

bottom line, support the American companies, keep our money here..
