Anything solid on this combo yet, new dyno graph with updated mods list? I'd love to hear how this thing turned out, especially since I was told the 2300 was "too big" for a 6.0.

I have one question, looking at the initial graph, the TQ curve is nice and flat. Do you think it says relatively flat going back towards 1000 RPM's? Or do you think it would fall on it's face until 2500 RPM's or so? That would be my only concern with the larger blower on a moderate displacement motor. I know the general answer is going to be who cares but 90% of the time I'm going to be below 2500 RPM's and I don't want the truck to feel like a bag of chit in day to day driving.

A little off topic but I think it's funny how a GTO puts down more power/torque with 6psi then my friends annoying Slow-bra does with 15psi. Then again I can't stand FORDs!

~ Forged engine of some type ~ Ball bearing turbo of an unconfirmed size ~ 4L8000 trans ~ Beefy fuel system ~

No new updates. Expect we're having a terrible issue with belts shredding due to the tensioner pulley being misaligned. Gone through many belts and four tensioners.

The 2300 is great and right at home on a 6L and 6.2L.
Even on the vette we did, in 6th gear at 1400rpms, when floored, the charger would produce 6psi! Not that it's recommended, but it can.
As far as the GTO, it makes torque instantly.
Once we get the pulley figured out, we'll redyno it. It's at 10psi now, and haulz azz!

duh, that's a given, haha jk.
tell me about it!! i had a mudstain come through the shop, had all this bs on it, KB blower, cams, forged engine, every part polished!!! At 18psi, it made less than 500hp. I don't know if the combination was off, who cares i didn't build it, but a/f ratio was dead on at 11.8 and enuff timing,
hahahah, so no comparison, well a good comparison on how well the cheby's are doing!

Sounds like time to go to a Gilmer/Cog drive.

I'm confused A Stock Blower can get close to 500 hp (making it work on boost) on a Stang or however you choose to call it. I've seen them with KB @ 15 psi making well over 560 hp on 91 octane, Maybe it's in the Tune Not the Setup being off! Fords FI engines are low compression that's why the Boost is higher and then again Thats why They Handle The Boost Better than the Chevy's!

The car has been having this issue even with 5/6psi, no need for a 10rib setup yet, something is wrong with the alignment.

Hey, I'm just stating what it put out lol, what it is, is what it is, hahah.
I wouldn't say they handle boost better.
If it takes double the amount of boost to make the same power, then that's not handling boost better.
I know what you're saying though. Lower compression does need more boost, but too much boost , even on a low compression stock engine, means more abuse, and easier to damage.
The ford engine can only take so much hp, just like the chevy engine.
I think the low power output on this engine I was referring to was the combination.

I think they're pretty comparable when you put a blower on the chevy or the ford, but the chevy still wins!

Check the crank thrust, especially if its a stickshift vehicle. If the crank is walking back and forth then you have the cause of why the belts keep getting munched.

thanks for the suggestion, but the only pulley out of line is the tensioner, so we know it's that. they just keep sending us tensioners that aren't working.

Not Always! Depends on the Setup and the Tuner, I do agree on the Comparable part though
