Yeah, I forgot to mention that JL subs LOVE ported boxes. They are alot like Diamond IMO, after working for a JL dealer I realized how close they are. Since I am still buddies with my Diamond dealer I would rather send my money his way(he gives me a better deal even after I burnt off across town to work for the competition).

For 600 bucks, I got my KX2500.1 brand new, with a warranty... thats TRIPLE the watts (birth sheet was at 2880). I've said it once and I'll say it again... a watt is a watt is a watt. You could get a freaking Hifonics and IDC who you are... it sounds just the same as any other mono amplifier.

If some of you guys heard my DD, I promise you you'd drop any other company there was if you're into SQL. Yes, you pay the price, but you get what you pay for. I can't say the same for JL. You overpay for a mediocre mass produced sub. You can get comparable subs for half the price. I say this again... I STRONGLY, STRONGLY suggest you look into the Treo SSi, Fi Q, Soundsplinter RL-P, or the ID max.

Hey, man. No, I'm out now. With my stupid work hours and days off at my full time job, I just couldn't give up the sleep hours on drill weekends in the Reserves. My body can't handle a screwy schedule anymore, it needs as much consistency as possible. If I was still in, I wouldn't be happy about going over again but of course would if I had to. That's not why I'm not in anymore, it's all about my damn sleeping problems.

It sucks, as I had something like 16-17 total years in and I REALLY wanted to stick it out for retirement. I did Navy, National Guard, and Army. Navy was AD, rest was Reserves.

Z-56, watch yourself over there man. When it's getting close to time to come home is when you can get complacent and accidents (or worse) happen. Stay focused on your job until you're on the plane home, and bitch-slap anyone around you that looks like they're day dreaming. First things first, and home will come (though never soon enough!).

Petey, shoot me a PM if you're interested in selling your alternator please.
