    Evan--do yourself a favor and buy an LQ9. Search all over. You can get one for about $800-$1000 if you search enough. And then, you'll have $500-$700 left for boltons. Why spend the $1500 now on a 4.8L just to max it out on boltons when you could spend that on a bigger motor and have about the same power??? Hell, you could even sell the 4.8L for a couple hundred to spend on more mods for the 6.0L!

    If I had $1500, I'd get an LQ9 and then spend the rest on worthwhile boltons.

    Salvage yard. The kid I bought a spare LM7 from got his LQ4 at a salvage yard for $600
