I was about to say, I've talked to some roughnecks from Jena. They sound like they are pretty cajun some of them. One of our customers from there is almost impossible to understand. They do take care of their equipment which is more than I can say about many others.

seriously though. . . . to save yourself a bunch of headache. just save up some money and buy yourself a 408ci stroker short block with maybe -12cc pistons, then buy plenty of good pieces used. . . like oilpan, intake and the like, spend another couple hundred on a cam and some ls2 heads, pull your factory engine out with low milage, and swap that one in a get it tuned. store the old engine! if you ever got rid of the truck, you could swap the old motor back in with a stock ecm, and then sell it. plus a good powerplant is the best place to start

Yeah dude there are some rednecks in this town. I'd love to do a 408 swap but I don't see me havin the money to do that till after college. For now, the vmax should be enough to satisfy my need for adrenalin. And if that don't work I'll just go jump out of a plane or something lol
