Wrong...
Quik is right about this. DBW was on the Tahoes and Burbs with traction control. My 2001 C3 has it too, but it is a 6.0L.
To the OP, if you want to go with a cable throttle body, I am looking for one of the 00-02 DBW throttle bodies.
To stay with the DBW, you will need to have the TAC module from a pre-03 truck too. The 03-up one will not interchange.
