This should be one hell of a swap man! Ever since I lost my '73 I've wanted to do a 6.0/80e in one. Man I miss that truck.

No prob man. Just glad we could help.

H/C on the truck or Goat? PLEEEEEASE say the truck! I would love to see a set of worked 243s and a 228/232 .602/.612 112+3 LSA cam go in the truck with some LTs and a 3200 stall. That thing would be SICK.

But a H/C on the car would be pretty sweet too...

Definatley go with an 80e. Everything he said is right. I'd go with a 4.10 rear gear and she'll snatch you around like a monster! A bone stock 80e will take more abuse than most fully built 60s.

Hey! Just because it still isn't finished doesn't mean it's so called!
The only one I have currently is terrible, It is in the "my garage" section. I may give it a washing this weekend since it needs it so bad, I can get some better ones then.
I had pics of the WHOLE process from it coming off of the wrecker in my parents driveway until the day it went to the body shop. Then the computer crashed and lost them all. :doh!: Then my money kinda ran dry and my grandmother passed away. The shifter cable was fubar so what little driving it did get to keep it fresh, blew the clutches since it sometimes slip in between drive and neutral(didn't realize until it was too late). So, new trans soon and a few more interior panels, a new top, and new gears she should be ready to go. Just need some more cashflow.
