ahh Saturn sucks anyway. Gm has laways kept like models in every different make. For example: Pontiac GTO, Chevelle Malibu, Chevrolet El Camino, Gmc Sprint, Oldsmobile Cutlass/442, all pretty much the same car on the same frames. Motors were pretty much the only thing that were left to each individual branch, but still pretty much followed the same displacement guidelines. Pontiac and Oldsmobile had a 455 that compared to Chevy's 454 and so forth and so on.

Point is its like running a General Store.

You're going to increase profits by removing half your inventory
    you have for sale ???

Sure it cuts down on over head, but you now have less things
to sell to make a profit on in the first place.

Its ass backwards logic. Saturn was not a duplicate model brand for GM
never had been, and been one of GM's better preforming brands for a while now.

You are right about reducing the lines being a bad idea. I won't argue that point. I remember seeing some saturns with rattle issues and shaudy interiors though. Maybe in the last couple of years they have gotten better, I haven't seen much of the new models. Also, the sky is on the same platform as the solstice and I believe they also have an equinoxish vehicle, but I wouldn't take that one to the bank.
