What ci could this block be stroked to?? To safely run it with a decend shot of nos with good internals? So, the difference between this block and mine is just iron vs aluminum? I know L33's are H.O engines, but isn't that difference in performance in the heads, pistons and lighter engine?
    Thanks man!!

if i'm wrong somewhere some one help.....

the L33 can be bored to a 5.7 i think, (ive read somewhere they got one to 383) but the person doing it was dead on and watched the sleaves.

they did come with different heads and flat top pistons (witch neither do i have) and it bumped the CR to like 9.9-1 i think.

i'de say that a negative, only iron block carry enough material to be bored out without hitting the water jackets

Iron 5.3 can be bored .100 over to get a 5.7 and then if you stroke that with a 4 inch stroke crank you get a 383.. Cant bore the L33.. L33 had flat top pistons and 243 heads....
