Thread: my buddys truck

    Aight the truck making the noise belongs to me!
    My homeboy posted the video up for me and so far we've taken the belts of and ran it with no belts and the noise is still there.
    Some mechanic said it was the timing chain another mechanic said it can't be that. So now I'm like WTF?!
    Cuz two mechanics same something different!
    Some body help!

    sure sounds like an idler bearing.

    Start swapping parts from one truck to the other until you find the culprit.

    Good luck, mines also making a noise and alos thought it was the tensioner, but wasnt. But mine sounds different and dose it while going down the road at a certain rpm. Keep us posted on what you find.

    have you tried the hose? it actually works really well.
