Spray eventually? I think the voting is a little incomplete since it doesn't really list where you want to go with either set-up. David's rear mount hauls butt...Virgil's motor on spray does the same thing. If all you're wanting is a quick DD that never sees the track, I'm thinking the cammed 6.0 would last longer (purely opinion...I could be completely wrong). If you want a track monster, a cam-only 6.0 might be a little disappointing.

If I had to vote just based on the two options above, I would pick rear-mount. But, than again, I'm turbo biased. I've never had a cammed 6.0...my

David's kit is the one I was planning on buying. But an Lq9 sounded like another option. It will many be a street truck. It wont see the track much. The whole turbo scene has mer a little scared because everyones #7 is going tits up.

Yeah, that's why I said the cammed 6.0 might last longer. Boost is addicting though...For what you want to do, I think you would be happy with either. I don't know what kind of numbers that cam will lay down...

Remember, the leaner you tune it, the more likely #7 will pop. My wideband hovers in low 11 with water/methanol at WOT and my 4.8 never misses a beat. And if you look at my sig, I made close to 500tq with 11psi and i've bumped the boost up since then. There are a few components on the STS system I have modified cuz their kit needs a few tweeks.

~ Forged engine of some type ~ Ball bearing turbo of an unconfirmed size ~ 4L8000 trans ~ Beefy fuel system ~
