You can alway mount the filters sideways, can't you? You just have to be more careful when spinning the filter off so that you don't make a mess.

I think it could be angled to tuck in under the chassis somewhere. Here's what AMSOIL says about it:

My one-car garage is occupied w/ another project and it was wet all evening from Dennis' aftermath, so maybe next couple of days will see if there's a good location underneath. With my long bed there may be some good dead space to use.
Do you think there's a limit on the total hose length so that oil pressure isn't a problem?
