    L92 Head Question

    so ive been checking junkyards for a set of these heads to go with for my 6.0l swap and i keep seeing the pickups showing up as using these heads also.do any of you guys no this to be true?im searching for 07-08 escalade heads which should be the l92's.and on my searches i keep seeing the trucks also.i dont wanna buy these and have them not be the right ones.

    Buy new ones, they're not really expensive. For about $600 each you can buy them already ported from GM and flowing 350+ on the intake side. See sdparts.com for more information.

    +1 on getting new ones....But yes they do come on the trucks too..

    +2 on new ones, all the new 07+ 6.0's have l92 heads

    the l92 heads are stamped,its a 4 digit number,,ill look on the denali.

    L92's are junk! You can't make any power with them and that's why I use them

    yea, dont buy l92's......i have ported ones on order

    also, the first gen l92's are 4digit(5364), the ones on the new 6.0's are 3digit(823)

    Yes, the ones I've seen are 4-digit...at least the ones I looked at...but none were stamped, they al had cast numbers....
