Its a tough concept Travis, but if you UD the crank pulley by 25%, then the stock alt pulley will move 25% slower. If you match the 25% UD crank with a 23% UD alt, it will spin about the same RPMs as before. I get full charge of the alt at just 750 rpms...
not to get too technical but it would be:
an overdrive if its a smaller driven or a larger drive
an underdrive if its larger driven or a smaller drive
drive is crank
driven is wp/ps/alt
you have an underdrive crank pulley, and an overdrive alt pulley
