    I thought there was a thread on tech about them not performing well on 5.3's, but the larger cubed motors did well.

    dont think so,the fastest 5.3 is running this intake,,check this out

    You'd lose some of the low end torque with that intake.
    Which can be kinda nice for a street truck.

    have to take Stunna's vid with grain of salt.
    That truck while I'm sure is driven on the street is a track machine built for high rpms,
    tall slicks and steep gears.

    Why do you say that? As far as I knew...whis isn't much more than what I have been told by many of the much more educated and experienced people on this site...longer runners were more for maximizing low end torque numbers, hence why the truck intake has considerably taller runners than the car style intakes...which from what I'm told are shorter so they can maximize higher RPM power and not generate as much low end torque, because a 4000lb...at max...car doesn't need as much torque as a 5600lb truck does to get off the line.

    any update on the install on this thing mine should be here this weekend and am wanting to put it in

    Everything is here but the injector pigtails. They should be here this week. Then its game time!
