I've killed many 60e 3-4 clutch packs and I too have neglected the pump resurfacing, most likely leading to my clutch failures since everything else was solid. The next time I go through my 60e, when I get it back from Tyler, is to get the pump checked and resurfaced then rebuild it and put it to the test in someone's truck to see if I got it right.
all hard parts are new,including the pump no reman.
i agree with your pressure loss ,because if my tranny does apply lock up under wot it would take pressure away from the forward drum and apply it to the converter witch would make it burn up 3,4 clutch pack,
right?
