Make sure you change all the fluids (diff/tranny/transfer) soon if it was towed, just incase anything got heated up from the trans pump not running.

You should clear 33's all day long with that lift. 31's would look goofy.

Try the blower resistor before the motor...most common the problem when only certain speeds work.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

lol I was thinking of laying some indoor/outdoor carpet in the back, they wont sit on the leather, but the seats fold down

Yeah I will change all the fluids. That's what someone else said to, was the blower resistor. I still have to do some research on what wheel/tire combo I want to go with.

i was messing around earlier in it, and when I tried to put it in 4LO it popped out of gear like once. It feels like it doesnt want to stay in, unless I slam it in. IDK I just need to do a full tuneup on it.

Sounds like a lot of the same issues mahlady has with hers. Even if the air is working properly it doesn't blow worth a crap. They are nice lookin rigs though.

Welcome to the Jeep world. As you know Lindsie and I have two ourselves and would not trade them for the world. They are great daily drivers but are not the greatest on gas...

If you're looking to go with a bigger tire setup as well as a suspension lift, you may want to look into one of these...Took them awhile to come out with them but they are finally here...

Had several Cherokees over the years

    Good cars, great engines.

I think they are a little pricey for what they are though.
Can get a Hoe for same money and fit twice as much inside.
    2002 Tahoe 4.8 - soon to be turbo'd - SOLD
    1989 Mustang - LX Vert - 351W-TT - 2inches of dust covering it
    2012 Raptor - 497rwhp at 10psi

It was actually a toss up between the two.

A few things I liked about the tahoe was the extra room and the fact that I could probably fix any sort of problem on it. But what I was really after was somethign that I could do some wheeling with. I liked how the WJ had straight axles and a pretty solid transfer case. That and how small it was, but yet it could hold me, my girlfriend, and our two dogs with ease as well. Plus I really needed to get a car that I wouldn't be able to make fast. The tahoe would be a HUGE tempt to throw a turbo or something similar onto it, and I needed to just focus on small things to keep it DD.

Yeah, jeep FTW for some trailing. Tahoe way too big for that.

    You should be happy.
Had 4 over the years. Built like a rock.

That inline 4.0L 6cyl they used to use was one hell of engine.

+1 for that. Isn't it a shame that they discontinued that motor for the 3.8L V6 they put in them now??
