yeah im talking about the push rods, and that shop *ucking crazy. You can do it your self, just take your time and its not that bad. go to ls1howto, and they have a pretty detailed instruction, for the f-body, but there really no difference as far as the motor part go's

30 hours for that job is very excessive. However, $25/hr is extremely low. Where are shop rates that low?? Most knowledgable & certified techs who are any good command that $25/hr as their wage! Your shop must not pay very well, so they can have low rates(which may be why they need 30 hours...)

depending on how well it is tuned im pretty sure the tr220 would sound really lumpy in a 4.8 ive heard a few on youtube and depending on the exhaust setup to they can sound real lumpy plus it would have the balls to back it up... i just think youll be pissed once you get past the all show and no go stage.. trust me ive been there with the old 4.3 and 10k later im a hell of a lot happier.
