Welp thinking I had my issues lined out we set out to the track yesterday. Well I ran 14.1 on motor a few times. WHICH was a disappointment.... But Still thinking low 13s is feasible on n2o I turn the kit on. It purges fine. Kit seems like it was ready. Welp line up. Get a decent bite off of the line, Flip the switch as soon as it hit 2nd and Nothing. No extra pull. No different sound to the motor (mine gets alot louder when its sprayed on... if thats normal) Get back to the pits. Climb around tinkering. EVERYTHING seems right. So round two. SAME result. IT CANT BE WORKING to only get a 14.0 as a best for the night.... SO pissed off by the end of it, I didnt even say bye to 408 and his crew that were cool enough to show up with some AWESOME rides. (My bad bro when you read this, long night)
So we leave the track get maybe two miles down the road get a call. "Billy had a blow out". Bill who is one of my best friends that always comes to watch me race and help any way he can. Hes cool like that. So I turn around go back. And bad luck continues. (Aside from the plus side of having a floor jack with me!) We get his truck jacked up. Get out my break over bar and low and behold My 3/4 socket wont fit in between the rim and the lug nut. It needs a thin barrel or a 19mm short barrell.... WELL I guess it was a bad spot of the road cause less then 100ft away another truck breaks down. Luckily they fixed theirs quickly before we could really help them. So they did have a short barrel 19. Throw it on there and take off both rims on the driver side. We had to take a Silverado spare I had and put on his. (He drives a colorado. Although the lug pattern is same the center bore is different) So we put a bad tire he had on the back on the front and my spare on the back.... GUESS WHAT the spare is bad as hell he drives like 1/4 mile and you can see the tire itself wobbling from being unused.... So we haft to take the back roads to the house going under the speed limit. Got home at around 1:30a.m. and was SUPPOSED to be up getting ready for work at 4:00. Ended up just calling in cause I was so tired I couldnt work a 12 hour shift.... (long post right)
