I've seen it first hand, someone who ahs been with a certain company for a long time, Person A, takes off work all the time, claims they are hurt etc. Person B, works his A off and when it comes time to make cuts, Person B is cut because they haven't been with the company as long. Doesn't make sense....

And hence the reason unions were NEVER a good thing for ANYONE EVER.

No matter how you approach it, it's just a product of the times greed has overcome everybody. The almighty dollar rules out over everything and sadly everyone. Yes it's nice to have money, but what money can turn some people into is disgusting. Everyone just has to make that extra buck, loaned money to people who couldn't pay it back and looked what happened, the whole world is f'd. We had it too good for too long, time to hit the reset button and start over, sad thing is it's ruined lives.

Some of the things they do I agree with, some of the things I don't. How dare some of you people sit there and say that I am a blood sucking, lazy, and unamerican person. Listen to the bullcrap that is coming out of YOUR mouths. Talking about how TEXAS doesn't need anybody else. How TEXAS should be its own country. How AMERICAN is that?
Sounds like this guy is ready to start another civil war .
Unions taking 50 Billion dollars of fellow Americans money just to save their butts is not American , like it or not .
If you don't agree with them drop the Union it is your choice , after all it is America , isn't it ? You don't have to be Union , but you choose to !
Unions drive inflation , like it or not , requesting more pay , no demanding more pay or you quit producing something is black mail , or extortion , mob like practices that only the unions can do , get the point ! Un-American in my eyes and millions more also . When all the jobs are gone up north they run to the south for work , but we are the bad stupid morons aren't we .
UAW needs to go , but GM can stay and produce cars and trucks with nonunion labor , believe it or not , cars made by nonunion laborers do run well and other products made by nonunion laborers work as well . 100 years ago unions were beneficial but this the 21st century , dinosaurs of the past need to be buried and forgotten , to be dug up latter and studied as to what went wrong .
Now what is a tune again?

Hey I agree but didn't you just have a heart issue? Try to relax. I can't believe I'm saying that to one of my few elders here but dooood don't hurt yourself. I know I'm high strung but....man I wonder about my heart.

has alot to do with poor management, i mean look at ford they have the ugliest trucks out there and there doing alot better than gm or dodge. seen a clip on tv about fords CEO, looks like he has half a brain. he saw some of what was coming and sold of astin martin, land rover and another of the non money making brands. he also took out loans before the economy got so bad that they couldn't. also from what i have seen unions=bad, the beef packing plant here (one of the biggest in canada) went union and it was like they were slave drivers or something. they actually made a documentary about the whole thing after their first strike was over, what a joke. like the union wasn't threatening everyone in town when they didn't get their way, swat teams ready to go if things went bad at the strike. just a bunch of BS. ok im done
