Actually, tyler was wrong about one thing. The Civil War was very much a matter of eminent domain. You see, regardless of what anyone might want to believe, Africans WERE considered property. The government wanted to release them as free but the government wouldnt pay up because human beings never should be considered property. So hundreds of thousands of dollars were payed to buy slaves and that money was not to be compensated. It wasnt the only reason but it was a huge one.

And GM needs the Baby Dmax to come out already.

Seems some oil companies are researching pulling hydrogen out of the hydro-carbon. I wonder what we do with the carbon afterwards... ,not what we need. Unless it all comes from Texas, and Alaska.

But totally agree with the diesel for now, and hydrogen for the future. The whole plugin car, just not something I'm interested in doing. Especially with the price of electricity now. Even over this way where most is from hydro-electric dams, I don't understand that by the way, cost nothing to create, other than up keep, but cost the same as oil, or coal plants

It would be awesome to see a GM hydrogen powered. We should also convert all our v8's to burn hydrogen , maybe a little less power, but hey just boost it more FTW. Hydrogen, the more you compress it, the more power you can get if you burn it.

Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean I am against you. Has nothing to do with character either. People have different views, does that make your view more "right" than mine? I think not.

Stopped reading all of this crap at about page 10. Its making me sick. I am a union worker. Not because I went out looking for a union job, but because they were hiring. Some of the things they do I agree with, some of the things I don't. How dare some of you people sit there and say that I am a blood sucking, lazy, and unamerican person. Listen to the bullcrap that is coming out of YOUR mouths. Talking about how TEXAS doesn't need anybody else. How TEXAS should be its own country. How AMERICAN is that?

If you read, only the Union workers that sit around and make puppies all day are the ones getting bashed, not the guys that bust there ass.

Diesel is where it's at for sure. I mean you can run on filtered French fry oil with no negative side effects to the vehicle.
Not sure where that came from. It was gonna be a V8 and it would have sucked for at least 3-4 years just like the LB7 DMax.

Look at E85, its almost impossible to find and its been out quite a while.
+1 There is no where anywhere around here to get it and I'm glad. The only thing we need on that front is real gas without the 10% ethanol.

True but the point in some of the comments in mentality. It's a lot more union friendly in the yankee states from Ohio to Vermont.

Oh yeah, how upper management and the UAW took down the largest automobile maker in the world.
LOL. Remember the most powerful union in the world is the MLB Player's Association...then the UAW.

Hippies are OK. There are other things that are not. We know there are long haired red neck hippies, right?

Let's remember the war was to let each state make its own rules. Now we can't. See below.

I really don't aspire to be American by some STUPID "we'll put a boot in your ass it's the American way" crap so I could give a rats ASS. Being American got me nothing on its own. Working to be what I am without negotiated bennies or having someome else fight my battles did though. All the while I had to overpay for so much because of union and government manipulation it makes me wanna lie on my back and puke straight up.

It's not so much the individuals that make up unions, but instead, what unions stand for and represent. I'm not saying everyone who is in a union is a worthless piece of ______, but the institution of the union allows for a greater number of slackers without consequence. I've seen it first hand, someone who ahs been with a certain company for a long time, Person A, takes off work all the time, claims they are hurt etc. Person B, works his A off and when it comes time to make cuts, Person B is cut because they haven't been with the company as long. Doesn't make sense....
