Exactly. Diesel efficiency and performance has made huge leaps and bounds over the last few years. The diesel segment will enable us to meet the national MPG standards for the time while we do more R&D for hydrogen.

You guys really need to read the article I posted earlier.
GM has a working hydrogen fuel cell car, it’s called the Sequel.

Why is it not being produced? Well that’s just GM for ya.
If pro is opposite of con, then what is the opposite of progress?

GM was supposed to come out with a V6 Duramax that supposedly was supposed to get in the 40mpg range. While still putting down somewhere near 350hp and like 400tq.

Diesel is where it's at for sure. I mean you can run on filtered French fry oil with no negative side effects to the vehicle.

As demand increases for diesel fuel the costs skyrocket. Diesel used to be a byproduct of the manufacture of gasoline. Now they're having to make it specifically for use as the demand increases. FF oil is great but they've got to figure out better ways supply fuel for diesel engines as demand grows. Hydrogen has the same issues. Look at E85, its almost impossible to find and its been out quite a while.
