    traction activated issue

    so hears the deal .my escalade ,for the last year is activating the traction on the cluster.when i take off fromm a stop only.and periodically if you hit a bump wile turning ,this part may be normal.but like i said it comes on and slows the truck down till you release the pedal.Any ideas appreciated.I d like to fix this my wife drives it all the time .Its my 03 esky.
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    Have your hubs checked. There is a sensor in the hubs. Had one go out in mine a couple months ago. 80.00 bucks and it was fixed.

    All 4 tires identical with good tread, no mis-matches?
    2001 ECSB 4x4, 5.3, Radix, 3.0 pulley, VHP Trucker cam, 216/224 .551/.551 115 lsa, 1.8 Crane roller rockers, 4L65E, Yank SC3000, 3.73, Cal-Tracs, HPTuners.

    cool .do you know what its called?Is it the speed sensor?If so my luck ill have too replace the whole hub assembly,im sure on an esky thats half a fortune.my hd was like 400 each for 2wd hubs.

    +1. You can also measure the resistance thorugh the sensors ususally around 900-1200 Ohms but this is a little unreliable as a static measurement. Check the hubs for play too. Most acceleration DTC's are caused by erratic readings. Make a good visual inspection of the WSS wiring.
