    70lbs weight savings isnt gonna mean much to you in a 4,000lbs truck

    Aluminum will take just as much as the cast and the weight is about 140lbs difference...that's why i went with an LS2 block

    Anyone got a link to weight difference on iron vs. aluminum.

    I've seen everything from 65-140 lbs difference
    Anyone have a reliable source for what it is ..... for sure ?
