Leave the rotary in it and put a turbo the size of Casey's in front of it.

No make it a 200mm Turbo. Start spooling it up about five minutes before you launch it.

I love rx7 old or newer problem with the 6.0 is they are heavy compared to the ls1 or any alluminum motor, ls1 arnt much heavyer than the rotory (which are junk and yes they can make power but apex seals really? Just not a good idea. If u want straight drag car then ok for the 6.0 but its an rx7 best on turns-drift-street imo

if iw as gonna build a rotary motor, i'd buy the 20b and put a single big turbo on it! still might do the 6.0, weight really isnt a big deal, already found the conversion kit and everything for it

There are aluminum 6.0's and all the Wankel engines I've seen were a lot smaller than a V-8.

so i got two different options, i got a 86 camaro that we have a narrowed 9'' for, or i found a 87 thunderbird today, but i have 2 different motor options, the 6.0 or my zz3 crate motor 350hp but we have added a bigger cam and different intake and carb set-up. its running 12.3's in our malibu that we have to coast through the traps and letting out at the 1000ft mark.
