    That's a great price! They complete a once over on the motors and check compression, so I'm sure its all good. Do they have/offer a warranty on that one? No 6 oh's?

    I can't check with them anymore... I keep buying motors and don't need anymore

    Dale called me last night...he was pissed! We were both mad cause we wanted to see how long it would last.

    The crazy thing is that we had talked about replacing the timing chain several times, but just never got around to doing it.

    Dale--I found a 04 5.3L with 60k miles in Sherman for $400. Looks like we'll be doing a motor swap soon!

    But since your timing chain broke, I doubt your cam is still good, but you never know. Lets just tear that bish down and see what we've got...
