I wonder if I should just gut the cats or loose them all together. I think they look under the truck during inspection to see if there are still there. I'm hoping since it is a 1981 sooner of later they will just stop checking at all for emissions. I'm sure this engine without cats is way better than the carbed 305 ever was with the big ugly cat it came with! Anyway getting rid of the cats when we do the turbo sounds good to me!
