From experience... I suggest you do the headlight relay mod if you plan on driving it after dark. It made a huge difference on mine when I did it. The problem is the wiring is so tiny from the factory that it can't carry sufficient current to power the headlights correctly.

What it involves is using the wire that originally powered the headlights (lows and highs requires two relays) to trigger a relay closed (instead of powering the lights). The relays are mounted under hood near both a solid 12V source and the lights....so the output voltage that lights the bulbs has only a short distance to travel (less voltage drop) and the input voltage is much stronger. Makes a night and day difference.

hey sc ,looking good.that fuel pump should get mounted with the rubber mounts, itll quiet it down.i had the same issue with mine, till i did.the noise travels through those brackets also and will vibrate on the frame ,even if u have the **** tighed out of it .I actually had better luck making it quiet by loosening the bolts alittle instead of tightening them to tight .i just listened as i repositioned the bolts ,tighter and looser.good luck ,i know what youre hearing,i had that same vibrating noise, but now i can hardly hear it ,not much loude than stock.

Give me a minute and I'll pull up a tutorial on 67-72. You're a member there right?

Did that for highs and lows on my Chevelle and it was totally worth it!

Yes. Mount the relays (one for lows one for highs) up front near the battery. Use a 30 amp breaker to power the load inputs to the relays. The load output from the relays hook to the wire that was hot going to the headlights. Ground the relay coils to a good ground under hood. The wires that were hot from the switch now triggers the relays.
