This guys doesnt have a wife, or kids. He openly admits to paying for sex. And they only girlfriends he has had, are strippers, that he has to pay. This is from his, and his friends mouths before I got targeted. He is in his mid 40's, and has only 7 years in. I was talking to my grandmother, and she said. ''I think I know why they are pissed at you''. We all just got a raise, but I got the best review, and the best raise in the department. I'm guessing thats why I'M a target now.

Beat them at their own game! Pick out things they are doing wrong and make a note of it. Be sure and tell them they are doing something wrong or not doing it at all. Tape recorder would be good. Make sure you have the recorder on when you tell them what they are not doing or doing it right. This will piss them off, but will save your butt in the long run.

All this over a cat? Why would superiors care that much about an incident (or fabbed incident) like that?

If you have had your food or drink tampered with it's considered assault. If someone puts any of their "stuff" (spit, poop, etc.) on you, they've assualted you. If they've messed with your belongings they may have trespassed or some other crime. If anything like these examples have taken place, you need an attorney. If not, maybe not.

This is truly a catch 22 as you really can't do much about them but who wants to quit and have the bullies win in principle...?

Thats what I said. I think that some neiborhood kids probably did it. Department is only 2 stations and we rotate every month.

Naw. I was mad because The chiefs son got hired over me, even though I scored higher, and tested higher. I got hired at another department right after that years ago.

That's the problem. I think now that I got a write up, or written verbal, My probation period extends 6 more months. I was only 2 months away. from 1 year at this department. a few days ago the chief was telling me to keep up the good work. Today, My LT and the assistant chief don't know if they can trust me??? What makes me the most angry, is they wont listen to me at all. They don't hear my side, or let me defend myself.
I came to this department because they payed A LOT better. But now I'm thinking its not worth it. Money doesnt buy happiness. I love the job. I hate the politics and the people.

recording someone without their permission is illegal and can get you in more trouble then you know.

once someone finds out you make more then them, they do whatever they can to make your life hell.

older guys think cause they been there longer and have done this and that. think they are superior in everything and should get all the easier jobs, higher paid, better chairs to sit on and etc. they think a younger smarter, faster, etc person isnt worth their time. Old guys are usually grandfather'd thru the system and have less IQ then a younger guy that comes up thru the schools. They clearly say youre all book but have no idea in real life. sorry bud that isnt true either. triple threat is the way to be and the old guys are single threats but they still want paid more and do less. Society is ****ed up. i see it as hungriest dog should EAT. NOT the laziest dog that finds the way out of things
