pistons depends on the CC spec on them

for ever .5 CR loss or gain its roughly 15-20hp. more CR the more overall power, the less CR the less overall power.

i think at 10.1 youll be living on race fuel at 15lbs of boost or very low on timing.

give it a try and report back
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

why not just build the motor with 9.5 and put something like an LS6 cam in it or a GT2-3...then you will make 350ish rwhp NA and with 10psi would net you 500rwhp and with nice pistons and crap already being in there then if you got frossy you could turn up the boost to 20psi and not have to worry about it and hit 700-800rwhp
    2006 silverado SS....Clifford Jr...turbo coming soon
    1970 Chevelle ly6 swap....d1 coming soon

I think Im gonna go with that...

Now for time to compile parts...
Where to get heads....I will/have been calling local junk yards trying to find some ZO6 that was wrecked. I will call Scoggin Dickeys tonight and find out about a crank and most likely get my rods from them too. I was gonna get Dallas Performance to spec me a custom cam...what about running 2 different ones...one now without boost and then the custom cam for the boost? Any suggestions? Not sure if im gonna run a Vic Jr before the boost or not... If I decide to do that then Ill get my hands on one, but till I decide should I just run a truck intake? Uhhhhhhhh....not sure what size pistons Im gonna need yet....have to have the machine shop help me with finding some. What else?

Ok so I talked to Scoggin Dickeys this afternoon...they want $1230 for a GM replacement crank...looks like I'm gonna be searching more. I didn't ask them about rods tho...damn it! I think I will call again tomorrow.
I was also entertaining the idea of going with L92 heads and the GMPP L92 Vic Jr style intake. How would this set up work out with boost?

They're open M-F, only. They may have a set of heads for you, too.
