    Not sure what the shaft costs. You could get a housing from a trans shop off a core or from a wrecking yard. I wouldn't recommend a used shaft though. You'll also have to pay someone to gut it. May cost $400? Not sure. Allen, feel free to delete this post is it messes up your for sale post.

    output shaft is different in 2wd/4wd .if you still bought it and replaced it ,make sure you replace it with a billet output shaft ,trust me,it was about 4-500 bucks i believe.although you could sell the 1 in it for 2wd to someone,i would say it probly has a 2wd billet shaft in it.good luck.I went through 3-4 output shafts b4 i installed a billet 1,knock on wood no issues with the billet shaft.good luck

    He has the 4wd shaft in his ruck already? Won't that one work?

    Yeah, he can pay someone to tear them both down and swap the output shafts. It's not too hard but will cost a bit to pay someone to do it. They've got to buy pan, valve body seperator plate gaskets, front pump gasket and then labor.
